Hi Guys,
As the countdown to the “2014 TEXAS TOY SOLDIER SHOW” continues I thought I would extend an invitation to one and all to come along to our “Pre Show Friday Night Fest” at Kings X in the Menger Hotel.
Every year since Nick & Deanna of Toy Soldiers of San Diego handed over the running of the show to Kings X and King & Country we have held a little welcome celebration for both dealers taking part and collectors who have come into San Antonio for the event.
As again, this year, we’re having a “theme” for the party and its definitely…GERMANIC!
Our sister company “Mad Dogs” , a very popular British Pub on San Antonio’s famed Riverwalk has recently opened a “German Biergarten” complete with a bevy of very pretty “frauleins” serving foaming steins of amber nectar and all kinds of delicious German sausages.
“Why not, ” we surmised “bring a little touch of the Fatherland to our Texas pre-show get-together!” After all we’ve made enough Tigers, Panthers and Soldaten over the years to justify it! And so it has come to pass…For those that don’t like beer there is of course Wine together with the aforesaid women and, as far as song goes, we’re bringing along a German “Oompah Band”.
So, if you’re coming to the show come and enjoy the party on Friday 23 May from 5pm –7pm.
All the best,
