1/18 Ardennes (1 Viewer)

Nice pic's WO and that 1/18 scale hanomag looks a beaut! Could you post a couple more pic's of this vehicle?

Tom

Thanks WO, it certainly looks good along with the rest of your collection. The only thing I would do to the vehicles however would be to give them a bit of weathering along with some battle scarring/paint scrapes etc.

Always liked 1/18 it was my scale for years until 21century folded and my $40,000 collection lost appeal and moved on. Good to see it is still enjoyed.^&cool, Robin.

Sounds like you've got a pretty big collection Robin. I enjoy breaking out a few of my pieces from time-to-time, then I drift back to the smaller scales.

Ya, only problem with a lot of the 1/18 stuff - looks like it just rolled out of the factory.

If your handy with the brush WO then it's not to difficult to weather a vehicle. If your not confident in doing this then im sure there are plenty of blokes that will do this for you and at a reasonable price. It all comes down to whether you want to leave the vehicles untouched and of course if you are happy in the way they look from the factory. I for one sometimes do not like to tamper with a vehicle from it's original factory look, even if im not all that happy with the paint job. Other times though I am happy to apply additional weathering and or change the vehicle look altogether.

Thanks for the tip, Tom. Appreciate the suggestion. I've done some model painting but I'm reluctant to mess with the "already painted" items.

Your welcome WO and I can understand your reluctance mate.
