I've been looking for, and not finding, 1/32 civilian farm figures. I need them in circa-1950 dress but other 20th century decades might be close enough. Ideally, I'd like an unpainted plastic family of farmer, wife and kids doing chores. But any material/pose might work. Any ideas?

Yeah, I would have thought so - found plenty of 1/32 soldiers but few civilians and no farmers. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place - what category/keyword did you use?

On eBay: "Britains plastic farm figures". They are minimally painted, but not well.
Marx and other US plastic toy manufacturers did many unpainted farm playsets, too, though I'm not sure of the scales, might be smaller or larger than 1/32. Try "farm playset figures".

Yup, those are the magic search words. Thanks! :salute::

You're right about the paint but that's fixable - also found some that aren't painted. I can be a little flexible on scale. I'm finally getting around to restoring a barn my Dad made for me circa-1950 (shows how old I am {eek3}) - it was my favorite toy and still is a connection to him. I had almost forgotten about it and was very happy to find it when cleaning out his effects after he passed. It needs a little repair but is in surprisingly good condition for its age and how much I played with it. Also found the hard plastic 1950s dime store animals and some of the farm implements I had with it. They're 1/32 and it looks like he scaled the barn to fit them. Never had any humans though and I figure it needs some.

Anyway, thanks again.
