1/32 Panther Ausf D conversion (From 21st Century Toys) (1 Viewer)

A lot of work in this conversion. Looks really good IMO. The best thing about the 21st century armor is the detailed tracks, sprockets etc. compared to polystone models.

The Cold steel versions are a hybrid of diecast metal and plastic. The one that I have is oversize and measures 1/31scale; which is great as it works well with 60mm figures. The Kronprinze 1/2 figure Panzer Kommanders will fit into the cupolas of both the Panther and Kingtiger.

21st Century Toys are good, too, if you're trying to introduce kids to the hobby or otherwise get them interested in history. They're not so expensive that you wouldn't want to hand them to a kid and let him play with them. That's really where you're going to inculcate the interest, in the hands-on experience, especially with younger kids. Then you can introduce age-appropriate books to reinforce it, and usually, that's enough for it to take on a life of its own.

Prost!

I agree they are great for kids; much stronger than a 1/35 plastic model and not as expensive as a Minichamps or FOV model. I find the paint is better on the 21st Century, than on the FOV models.
I have posted several photos of the W. Britains Fallschirmjagers with 21st Century Cold Steel Panzers and they are size compatible IMO.
