I know some members here collect 1/72 Dragon tanks. I painted these soldiers from Pegasus for my 1/72 tanks.

Nice job Alex. They look great.Someday I'm going to attempt painting a few myself.I see Build a Rama is starting to supply 1/72 diorama pieces.Do you collect the Cyber Hobby exclusives also? The new Russian T-34 from Dragon is a nice edition from all the German releases, although I eagerly await the Hummel and Nashorn.I'm hoping to attend the Atlanta Dragon expo in July which will have its own exclusive German tank release.
Can you provide a list of paints you used for these particular soldiers?

Alex, that I truely admire, being able to paint those small pieces.
How long does it take for 1figure, you have got to get crosseyed!

I use field grey for the pants and flat earth for the base of the smock. Then the camoflauge is olive green, buff and green. I use a small paint brush and toothpick to paint these. The only cyber hobby I have is the Wittman Tiger. I have twenty other tanks but I too am waiting for the Hummel, Stug and halftracks.

I paint them in stages so I'm not sure how long it takes. I guess for one it takes like 15 to 20 minutes. I'm not crosseyed yet.

Great work, and a lot of work to paint those figures. Are the FOV 1/72 figures out yet? I have fallen behind on my Dragon Armor collecting since getting into K&C. :(

The 1/72 FOV figs should be coming soon. I've fallen behind too but i'm not planning on catching up because there are so many of them. I'll just get a good variety.

Those look splendid! I have had so many WW2 collections in various scales, but with the availability of the predone armor and all thats out there in 1/72 it's very tempting to start another collection! There is so much available it drives me crazy!
Excellent job with the troops! Camo is difficult, or more just tedium and getting a system down. You did great on the 1/72.
WW2 troops many think would be easy to paint. Not so, if you want them to look right, it can be more than a little tricky.Same with say Plains Indians. You would think it easier than painting Napoleonics or something. Nope, to get that earthy natural look can be difficult. ;)
French Blue is French blue.
Khahki, od's , light od's, drabs, webbing, gaiters, ect, all just a liddle different.

I just finished some 25mm WWII guys. Maybe I'll post some pics later but I would like to see how 1000 figures looks like. I would probably have a 1000 or more 25mm figs if I was a wargamer but I just collect what catches my eye in the 25mm world.
