Thanks Michael, I've been in a dio mood lately, so expect to see more and more of them soon. I've got loads of stuff in my collection.........

George

Love the Pacific island and its dense jungle and buildings. Tells us about the buildings--is one of them the Airfix jungle outpost? Also where did you get the 1/72nd scale palm trees?

I have always wanted to do a 1/72nd Pacific jungle scene with a Japanese airbase--I have the Hasegawa fuel and starter trucks. Anyone know what the color scheme/camo of an island based Zero would look like and is there a 1/72nd scale pre-painted die-cast model available to use?

Randy

Glad to see the Warrior playing George and nice to see what you have stored in you goody bag. Looking forward to seeing a lot more.....The Lt.

Thanks Randy and Lt, I appreciate the kind words. The village hidden in all the dense foliage is a Scenic Effects piece called The Jungle Village and as you pointed out, the other huts are the Airfix one with defensive works built up around them.

Some of the palm trees are ready made plastic ones, others are scratch builts............

Nice stuff George, the more I look at that scale, the more I ponder getting into it. Wow what I could do with a sheet of foam and carboard to that scale. Great Stuff Mike.:D
