Hi All - from encouragement by Jager7080, I've dusted off a few images I took several months ago of my modest collection of 70/80s Britains Deetail knights.
Probably not the best of pictures, here they are:

One of my favorites - always loved the pig helmet.

When purchasing as a kid, I tried to find the same shields for army building.

Never was a big fan of the king, but I liked the shield.

I liked this helmet as well.

Thinking back, this one got a lot of play because of the weapon.

The two-handed sword made me think of this one as a "berserker".

Interesting pose

But never liked this pose too well.

I always liked this figure because he made a good guard. He was also the first figure that I purchased.

Followed by this.

The archer was another favorite. I painted a few toothpicks with brown paint and silver tip. They would rest on his arm between the string and bow.

Had to have a few horse knights but I never liked those with the lances. This one wielded an axe.

And this with a two-handed sword.

My best friend and I use to build domino castles setting these up for battle. He had a few as well with different shields and we would play on a tabletop for hours. These were a lot of fun and I feel fortunate to have kept them all these years in a small shoe box.

Comments welcome.

Western Outlaw ,

Very nice collection of Britains Deetail Knights...There have been a few threads on this board , that centered around how members came to start collecting...Britains Deetail & Swoppit was my step-up from Marx...
They lead me to build model's & collect toy soldiers...Which is also why i am buying & restoring alot of the WW2 line of Deetail figures...Thanks for sharing !

I had these as a kid. My Dad made my brother and I a castle to go along with them. Many happy days playing in the backyard with these.
