I just buy an beautyfull 14 k gold pocket watch from circa 1898. But i do not have a lot of knowledge about this watch...so can you give me some links, where can i get more information about this watch?

Montgomery Brothers [George A. and James A. Montgomery] was a jeweler in Los Angles from 1887 to 1930.
Like many they contracted with watch companies to put their name on items. In this case Elgin.
Tiffany did and does the same thing.

You can look up the serial number [7738930] of the works on this site. http://www.elginnumbers.com/index.php

Looks like the full Hunter case was from another manufacturer, which was often done. Nice watch, but not that valuable as
it is only 14k. Maybe $750 retail if solid 14k.

I really wanted this watch, but I didn't want to make a wire transfer to Argentina. eBay limits PayPal to $10k

Hey can you also find some informations about the watch BRUNATES?
My friend have such watch and he also tell me that one number on this watch is 64 (if that helps haha). I will ask him if he can show me some photos that might help also....
