1612 is a 2007 Russian historical fantasy film about the Time of Troubles and the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth–Muscovite War (1605–1618). It was directed by Vladimir Khotinenko and produced by Nikita Mikhalkov. The film was released on November 1, 2007, to coincide with the celebrations of National Unity Day on November 4 that marks the expulsion of Polish troops from Moscow.

I love this movie. The only film I know of that had tons of winged Polish Hussars AND musketeers...a very cool movie, subtitles only that I've found.

I've seen it twice. I understand that the Netflix rental version is shorter than the original. I have seen an uncut battle scene from the attack on the fort with more 1600s mayhem.
