I saw this and thought maybe some Australians would be interested and return it home. Sterling Silver
watch owned by Private Jens Peter Christian Christensen of the 10th Light Horse Regiment. Christensen was a
37 year old gentleman farmer from Fremantle, Western Australia who enlisted on 24 Oct. 24, 1917. He was on the
SS Ormonde on March 13, 1918 and fought the Turks during "The Great War." Against the odds, he survived,
returning to Australia on April 10, 1919.
