My first fully Historex mounted piece following my Hussars Royaux piece, after I had figured out details of Napoleonic dress and how the Historex instructions worked. I selected the 1813 campaign as the 1812 Bardin reforms seemed to have simplified the uniforms, making them easier to model.
The horse was animated from various Historex parts all cut up. Theatrical hair flailing in all directions seem to give this piece some energy. I lke this pose but if I were to rework this piece, I would make the figure lean forward more to shorten the plastic reins. I think that the reins should be generally held or tied up shorter to give better control over the horse. The face should also show more expression (with hindsight).
