Ah, Minnesota!

I just got back from a conference in Atlanta, where there was significant moaning about the frigid temps.

This morning I woke up to -20 F (-28 C), and we're crazy enough to go ice fishing this weekend.

... and the fish are popsicles.:D -- Al

Baking instructions:

First, place fisherman in warm location until thawed.

Second, remove fish from freezer...

Once it drops below -19 it doesn't matter much how cold it is. Too bad the Vikes aren't hosting the NFC championship game this weekend. I miss seeing steam come off the heads of the players. Chicago is a balmy -2 today. So maybe there is hope.

Heard on our local news that International Falls, Minn. hit -45 degrees F. Remind me to stay south of the Mason-Dixon line. -- Al

Global warming. Sorry about that but I couldn't resist it.

Keep warm,

Carlos

It is up to a warm 3 degrees in Chicago now.

-13 this morning...about to bundle up and go fishing :)

It was 14 degrees this morning and I went on nature walk today in an Oak savannah that is being restored. It was cold but fun.
