Has anyone heard what Napoleonic fans can look forward to in 2007? I'm not lucky enough to make it to the shows....just wondering if there has been any talk behind the lines...

Cheers

You can be asured that the NAPS range is and will always be added to. Andy and myself were talking about this at London.

Our NAP display was missing a lot of Brits. (we dont keep Discontinued on display as this confuses the customer as they think what they see is available to buy) So there could well be another British attack soon!!!;)

No drawings or plans to show or share sorry. Also i recall some more mounted french.

I was also pushing for some more messy horses (muddy legs etc) as i feel the ones he makes now are to parade looking

Thanks Tony for the good inside information........I love the British as you can tell so I am always ready for more.............................:)

Personally I would like to see Prussians, Russians, Austrians, more nationalities whenever possible...Ah, and a special from the Peninsular War, a Portuguese Caçador so that I don't have to get it from Del Prado...:D
Other brands are doing these other nationalities, maybe there is some public for them. But hey, Andy sure knows it much better than me!

I don,t know how many times I,ve requested the same thing and it seems like all you ever see is more and more british troops from an age wear britain had one of the smallest armies involved and every company just keeps making more and more british.
How about at least some of britains allies in the peninsular like as stated the portugese, spanish, nassau, brunswickers?????? Waterloo allies-dutch, belgain, german, prussains.
The austrains were part of all the coalitions against napoleon you think that we could see at least a few of them made.:( :(

All Napoleonic fans want these groups...but I think if you are going to start a Napoleonic line...the French and British have to be the base which this line will build from...For me as long as I get A good British Foot Regiment with Belgic Shakos...I don't really care what comes next...its all good.....:)

FYI...ONLY 30% OF WELLINGTONS FORCES WERE BRITISH...THE MOST BEING OF GERMAN DESCENT. It's all coming in good time.
