Hi There !
I just wanted to remind folks that W. Britain will be hosting an seperate evening event at the 2009 Military History Weekend.
This is the new event that W. Britain, Osprey Publishing and Casemate Publishing are sponsoring on October 17th & 18th at the Hospitality House in Williamsburg, VA.

This first year event will have war gaming demonstrations, toy soldiers, military books and prints, vintage vehicle, re-enactors and WWII veterans.
This is a great hotel location within walking distance from the Historic Willamsburg center.
There are also plenty of great historic sites to visit in the area too.

For those of you planning on attending the evening W. Britain event I am posting the special figure that will be given to the ticket holders.
This was designed to add to other event figures and sets depicting the Coldstream Guards in full dress circa 1815. This Ensign has the regimental colour... reversed from the line units for the Guards.
We found both a front and back view of this Classic Redcoat for you. Sorry about the bent sword in this image... these are the only ones I have at the moment!

it is a great looking figure & ive already booked a ticket!!! not sure if im goner be actually going to the event yet depends on if i can convince ether my dad or brother to accompany me on the trip i really hope i can tho as its looks like a fun weekend!!!

anyone else on here booked a ticket to this yet? if your not sure i really recommend it as the london shows are alway a fun evening.

Richard is out of the office on Holiday and I am on the way out the door to attend a War of 1812 event.
I will see what I can find early next week though.
I think you will really like it, my main disappointment is that I only have one drummer and one fifer to go with him. I might just have to cobble up a couple more for myself... when I get the time!

i know that is the only down fall, i have 3 fifers & 2 drummers would like to get an extra fifer & 2 extra drummers at some point if anyone has any PM me!!! lol & thanks for looking for that picture Ken i cant wait for you to get back from the 1812 event now!!!

Just a note for folks who might be attending -- the annual Airshow at Naval Air Station Oceana, in Virginia Beach (about an hour from Williamsburg) is also that weekend. http://www.oceanaairshow.com/
