Hi all,

I wanted to give everyone a heads up that not only has the date changed for the Indy Toy Soldier Show this year, but that online room reservations are now available. You can find the link for the room reservations from the Indy Show Home Page:

Thx,

Jim

Thanks for the dealers list, Jim.
This is a nice little show I am looking forward to every year, since it is only a 2 hour drive for me.
Beside the opportunity to see a good lot of new and old Toy Soldiers in person I always enjoy meeting some fellow collectors, particularly John (Leadmen).
Are you coming this year, John?

Konrad: So far I am not planing to go this year. I might change my mind if I get a burst of energy.:D I know Paul is not going and not sure if Andy Moffatt is going. The show is nice and I will see how we feel about driving there. John

Well, John,
you take it easy and if you feel alright you come.
Did not see Paul and Andy on the dealers list but maybe Andy makes a last minute decision.
All the Best!
Konrad

Hi Konrad,
Due to the late show date in April, I will not be able to attend this year,as I start my Tennis job around this time of year. I have gone to almost every Indy show since the beginning.Hope you find some nice figures, Andy

I will be there, but I'm really NOT HAPPY with how late they are having it this year!!!...................Stryker

As you may or may not know - the late date was due to a scheduling conflict with another even at the hotel.. It was either completely change the venue or move the date.. So the decision was made to move the date.. I don't know any of the details...but that's the reason it was changed...

Jim: do you think they will move it back next year?.............Stryker

Hi Andy,
I forgot about the Tennis job starting in spring every year.
Have a great tennis season and maybe I see you in Chicago in fall.
Konrad

Jim: that's a good idea, if you find out let us know...............Stryker

Got a response from Barry.. He said he would like to move the show back to March for future, but will take a poll to see what others are thinking.

Also - Barry said that 117 tables have been reserved and he's "getting good response for room trading."

Thanks Jim, I think he should move it back because nothing is happening in march. I really don't care though, as I will attend whenever he has it.....Stryker

Finally was able to post a few photos from the Indy 2010 Show.. Here's the link to the official Indy Toy Soldier Show website (hostsed by Playset magazine).

I'll try to post a few more photos soon...

In general - I had a good time at the show.. Things were slower than usual - I'm guessing due to the economy and perhaps the changed show date. But as usual, I had a great time, found some items for my collection (could have gotten a lot more - if had more money), and enjoyed seeing old friends... and making a few new acquaintances... I love going to these shows and hope that attendance picks up at all these shows.

Enjoy!

Jim
