I was a little surprised to see that although we have been given more choice of free figures for this years collectors club membership, they all seem to be figures that were released previously and sold on release. Had I know that at least one of my purchases would have been offered free I would have waited!

There is no doubt that being a member is excellent value but part of the attraction was receiving a really exclusive figure and the opportunity to purchase overs if you desired. I have purchased two of this years offerings already and received a third from last year. The other three fall into a period I do not collect.

Does anyone else have any thoughts on this?

Is this the advert on the back of the winter catalogue or have you received your copy of the standard with these options in?
I have a feeling it is a hurried advert highlighting the products on offer for collectors and not the offerings for 2016 as they were not ready to show when the catalogue went to print. I hope I am right others wise I am in agreement with yourself that it would be a poor show and in my opinion an attempt to off load previous stock they are unable to sell.

Thanks for you comment. I was only going on what I have seen for the post on this forum. Having looked again you could be right.

I am sure Britains will come through for us. Apologies if I caused some concern.

Looking forward to seeing the Standard to find out.
 
Ken has put some of the new collectors club figures up on facebook with the remainder he says appearing later this week.

I just posted pictures of all eight of the 2016 Collectors Club figures on our Facebook page. In addition there will be several other exclusive figures introduced during 2016.
I hope you approve of the selection!

Some great looking figures there Ken. I can see I'll be ordering several, when they become available next year.
P.S. I'd like to see a light company officer for the 44th, any chance ?
 
Great selection of figures covering nearly every period of interest. For me I'm glad WWI and WWII are represented.

Yes, good observation! Look for one in 2016.
 
Even with 8 figures it was not an easy choice for me. That is one of the reasons we will offer a few more exclusives in 2016. If we have member support I will repeat the depth of selection again in 2017.

Quite a number of nice releases here! I particularly like the 44th Foot Light Company figure. The Regiments series seems to be coming along nicely as well. I'm looking forward to it moving further ahead into the Napoleonic era.

I also like the 44th Foot Light Company figure, although the Zouave and the WWI German are also well done IMHO.

Now I'm waiting for the Collectors Club form to be updated on WBritain's website.
 
Great group of club figures for 2016. Interested in getting at least 4 of these fine fellows...... two are from series I don't even collect.

How wrong I was!!! These figures are fantastic. Thank you Ken and your team for consistently raising the toy soldier collecting standard (no pun intended)
