Hi all,

I started a thread in the First Legion section but figured why only make it about one manufacturer?? so what's everyone hoping/wishing to see from any of the manufacturers in 2017 be it plastic/glossy/metals from any companies???...................

As I stated in my First Legion thread I'm hoping Matt/Constantine and co. will produce some more Stalingrad sets, a variation of the announced Tiger, any Winter WWII sets.

Being this is a wish list I guess I might as well go big, and hope that Conte will re-release the BOSS sets that were so popular years back, yea, I know that's a real big wish :)...Sammy

I'd like to see some Britains Zulu figures but enjoying camp life instead of fighting. Maybe also some of the higher ranking officer etc.....Surely we should be seeing Chelmsford soon? or Cetshwayo ^&grin

Hi Sammy 719,

Thank you for bringing this thread into the "mainstream".

However, I have to say first off, that your gripes with FL apply to every TS/Figure maker that has ever drawn breath. None of them have ever "finished" a series, to the Collector's satisfaction! I know, I have been collecting for 60 years!

My biggest gripe is that there are not enough "Austrian" figures made, from any conflict. Especially the Seven Years War and WWI Eastern Front [that includes Russians Rumanians, Bulgars and Germans too] Why is this so? Maybe because we (Brits and Americans) didn't fight them "directly" in either of these conflicts? Are there any other explanations?

Russell Gammage (Rose Miniatures) has the unique distinction of bring one major maker who never did an Austrian figure. Andy Neilson, still has time in which to "alter his position" on this count.

I live in hope!

I would like to see Britain do another version of their christmas in natal set.

I would like to see (in addition to Apocalypse Now figures) Pancho Claus and a German Train and the black Communists train from Dr. Zhivago.

In light of John Glenn's passing...how about a Space Race series from a toy soldier company?

Just one period for me. Done properly and seen through, it would be magnificent.
