All,
I know I am quite bit LATE on this but HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL! I have been out of pocket since the 27th of December...Miami, Key West, then on a 10 Day Cruise that hit Costa Rica, Panama and Aruba. Cartagena was cancelled because the government required one of 72 hour covid tests in order to port. Well, the ship could not support such a request and the Captain skipped it.
Some of the deets:
Royal Caribbean
60% Capacity on the ship
The stewards and staff we double masked
Drank at least 10 Crown and Coke Zero's a day (except on excursion days)
ROUGH Seas
Rang in the New Year somewhere in the Gulf
Quite a few grumpasaures on the ship but y'know me and found and rolled with a great crowd
You had to wear a mask everywhere on the ship except the pool areas and top side
Turned 50 on the ship
This was the ships first 10 day trip and LAST trip until further notice due to y'know what
HAD A BLAST AND FELT SAFER ON THE SHIP THAN IN THE U.S.
Now...drying out, avoiding stepping on the scale and back to reality...BOO!...but definitely missed my friends here.
