More images so that my thread stays at the top of the page for more than 12 seconds...………..:rolleyes2:

Beautiful display, George. Once again, I am staggered by the enormous number of figures and the sheer amount of planning, patience, and time it must take to bring these dios into being. -- Al

Museumworthy. Would love to see it in person.

I wonder whether adding half a room with displays like this for example at the MFCA would attract additional visitors. It would certainly be a first step towards aligning the toy soldier and wargaming communities.

Thanks Al; this was my third attempt at putting this together, just wasn't working until I added the section of cobblestone road to it and laid the buildings over it, then it all sort of came together.

I'm trying to do a Gravelotte St Privat layout down the road...…….

Thanks for the feedback; you are too kind, I appreciate it.

MFCA does have a wargaming army category as well as a small scale diorama category as well...……….hmmmm………….not sure if I can tackle that and get my tables set up.

Another stunning achievement and dramatic representation of your diorama skills.
You have become the master of the Panoramic Battle scenes, worth of comparison to Leo Tolstoy's War and Peace!!!!

Thanks Larry, 20mm enables me to create massive, sweeping scenes in a much smaller space...……...this one took about 8 hours to plan, stage and set up.

Been enjoying it ever since...………….

Fear not Gunga Din, I'll be all business at MFCA, been gearing up for that show for a couple of months, we're going in locked and loaded...…………...

Wow, great stuff! Did you paint all of these figures?

Thanks for the feedback; I painted a handful of them, I have a painter in the UK who does tremendous work, another in the Ukraine who does a very good job as well...………..

Great display George! Very fun to see someone actually fighting the Franco Prussian war! I agree with the others here you are getting great at these set ups! I wish I had the space!

Thanks for sharing

Thanks Dave, I appreciate the feedback; a long ignored war by 54mm/60mm matte finished manufacturers (well until recently; thanks First Legion), but not so in the 20mm world as you can see...……….

I love mass displays of toy soldiers. Great diorama George.

This looks like your biggest display yet. Impressive as usual George.
