I was looking at a WalMart today for the new Long Tom set without success, but did come across a "kit" version of the new 21C 8" howitzer. It was only $14.74 in the pre-painted kit form!

You're right Gary,

Mark V. (Build-A-Rama) called me the other day to tell me he picked up the KIT, built it and said it looked great but no fully assembled units to be seen yet.

Anybody else have something to report that's different?

Carlos

We just received word yesterday that the new M59 Long Tom, M115 Howitzer, and the British Firefly will be available in late August. These will be the fully assembled models and not the kits. We should have these available for preorder shortly.

Thanks
Ronnie

The assembled 155 gun and Firefly have been spotted in some WalMarts (that's what I was looking for in the store), but the distribution is very spotty so far. The cannon is in a set called "Heavy Artillery Emplacement". On another web site there were photos of the boxes. Still no luck in my area on those (yet)

21C's distribution really SUCKS! They mess up their dealers by letting Wallly World have the product first and much cheaper. That's a fine way to thank the dealers who built their market for them.

I've got both guns & a firefly coming from Germany :)
Are take some photos when they turn up

I found the m115 kit at Wal-Mart. I was surprised because I usually only find 21C planes here.

I picked up the Firefly with six German figures but did not get the 155 gun. They had new stock at our wal-mart this week but I saw only one of each along with king tiger. Leadmen

I'm looking forward to this howitzer, but I'll probably have to order it from the States because we don't have Target here and Walmart and Toys R Us are pretty unreliable.
