OK, i have the COLD STEEL 32X OPEL BLITZ truck. I put in next to the FL GERMANS and it looked to be pretty good in terms of size. At the minimum, the truck could be used in a "background". Somebody please let me know if this truck is a good fit. I need to know because im wondering if i should sell the truck or not! Thanks

Daruss, Can you post a photo of the Opel Blitz truck next to the Stalingrad figures? That should show the size compatibility

Well,It would be hard to answer accurately without a photo...Is this the grey opel truck??...if its 1:32 scale it may work set back a bit from the figures....I use 1:35 scale models as background models...but I have to place them well back

I do not have the Blitz, but in the Afrika Korps thread, I posted a picture of a 1/25 scale camel, a FL tanker and a 1/35 tiger tank.

It might work in the photo. In my opinion, it does not work on a shelf.

I think your truck would be fine as a background item. The fact is, few of the manufactures of collectibles bring the same general accuracy to their products at the price 21st Century did.
The the thing to consider is that a few of the more notable WWII manufactures do not scale their standing figures at i/30th but somewhere between 1/28th and 1/29th. Add the base height and they can appear very large.
I only have few 1st Legion WWII figures, but they seem much closer to 1/30th, and in some cases close enough to 1/32 to make the use together acceptable.

If you are willing to do some additional painting of detailing to the 21st Century products you can't go wrong for background models in your display... at least in my opinion.
