Well, the website (http://www.21stcenturytoys.com/) is down, now. It may have been down for a while, but I tried it over lunchtime, and just now, and I just get the standard error, "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage".

Yes is certainly down, and has been for some time now. Really as shame, at least they could had kept it open , saying sorry we have closed, and showed a complete list and pictures of all the Models they have produced over the years. But to much to hope for, I guess.

Still no luck at the webite . . . thought something may be up by now saying that it's no longer in business.

Out of curiosity, I tried a different website address (admin21st.web.aplus.net) from an earlier (Apr. 2008) message and got this:
"Dear Fans and Visitors to 21st Century Toys, Inc. Website:

We are experiencing some technical delays to our website due to upgrades and internal changes, please be patient as we work toward fixing the problem. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding. We appreciate all of your support.
Sincerely,

21st Century Toys, Inc

21st Century toys has been out of business for months now, not sure why all the wondering as to what their status is.

My sales rep contacted me several months ago offering whatever they had left at a very deep discount.

They are done.

I am starting to see at Target and other stores what looks to be Century 21 style toy soldiers under BRAVO TEAM. Did another company bought them out?

Some Chinese company is releasing some old 21st Century stuff. Nothing new, from what I gather it,s 1-18th figures and planes and armour. I believe at a somewhat higher price.

Hi, George, I think it's because there hasn't been any kind of clear statement to the public that they were shutting down, and their output prior to whatever their official close was, was getting spotty (eg, items disappearing from some stores, but deliveries continuing to others).

With the website, they probably could have put up some kind of "so long, it's been nice" post.

Prost!
Brad

21C was never real big on communication with their customers. I'm not surprised that it slipped quietly away. There is word that a number of the toolings were acquired by a Chinese toy company (apparently the company who actually was making the products). I have seen reference to some 1/144th vehicles and some 1/18 stuff but no word on any of the 1/32nd vehicles.

Dear "Warrior":

I did not know that 21st Century Toys went defunct. I got thier 1:32 scale air Plane models of a USA P-51 & a German FW-109 hanging over my Battle of the Bulge diorama of King & Country figures, etc. They are nice looking models that I got at a good price. I am glad I was not planning on buying anymore of these plastic models! Thanks for the information.

Since when do Chinese toy manufactures ever announce to the public that they are closing ? The only time dealers usually hear about it is if they are trying to dump inventory.
