Hi Randy,

This is a great brief on the Charge of the 21st Lancers at the Battle of Omdurman, Sudan Campaign.

If I may add to your this, the three winners of the Victoria Cross were from B Squadron, 21st Lancers.

The Victoria Cross was awarded to:

Capt. Paul Kenna
2Lt. Raymond De Montmorency
Pvt. Thomas Byrne

Lt. Winston Churchill of the 4th Hussars rode with A Squadron on the right flank of the charge.

The Charge of the 21st Lancers does not appear to be as popular than the Charge of the Light Brigade with collectors.

Best, Raymond.
