Yo Troopers come clean now, thought Dickbuttons would have seen through this. This set was Britains #2076 12th Lancers, had the Plastrons change of colour, belts & plumes, but are they not class or what better than Britains 21st Lancers. They passed the test you all failed lol, but you can redeem yourselves, you only get one guess WHO PAINTED THEM.
Bernard. :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes

My guess is either Jeff or Bob. Both are very capable of doing an excellent peice of work.

I can tell you I did not paint them.:D

Yo Dick, dont know Bob, so guess you got it right. Got to thinking about these old Britains and how some are priced out of the market and would never be able to afford them ie; 10th Hussars, 3rd Kings Own, and that there is not much difference between the uniforms of any of the Cavalry. The Hussars all look the same except for the Busby Bag & plume, same goes with most of the Lancers & Dragoons. So it only takes minor adjustments to the uniforms to change regiment, and someone with Jeff's skills to make them look good. I had these 12th Lancers nearly mint up for sale at a measley £70.00 no takers so decided to use them the best I could and save money on trying to get a set of 21st Lancers. Thats my story and I am sticking to it lol.

Bernard == thanks for the change of pace. For a while there, all I was seeing were Zulus. I was beginning to see them in my sleep.

Yo Dick fully agree, all you get is zulu's zulu's zulu's, dont Britains collectors collect anything else.
Bernard.

Here are some old Britains that I recasted in solid metal. John

Hi John,

You have beautiful figures in your collection. I always enjoy seeing the many figures you have to display. Thank you for sharing them with us!

Warmest personal regards,

Pat :)
