Some of you may not know that this year is the 250th anniversary of the Battle of Fort Carillon (Ticonderoga). I have attended a few of fort Ticonderoga’s annual anniversary events in the past and they have always been very good, but this year’s event promises to be extra special. At last years event I noticed that they had already started working on the breastworks for this year’s reenactment. From what I’ve seen there will be three reenactments starting Friday June 27th and running thru the weekend. Friday’s reenactment will be the death of Lord Howe and then on Saturday and Sunday they will be reenacting the battle of fort. I’ve been looking forward to this event for a few years now and I’m thinking that this maybe a once in a lifetime event. I provided a link below for more information.
