I received my set today and I must say I am most impressed! A good quality of finish on the British 42nd Wounded Highlander and Officer figures with some fine attention to detail. {bravo}}

Looking forward to seeing what the new releases are going to be later this year.

Hi Jeff
The set does look excellent. I was wondering if you had the Throw Point set?
I am considering purchasing it and wanted to know if it was of the same quality as the 42nd set.
If you do have it would you be able to post a couple of photos of it.

Kind Regards Paul

Paul, it's not bad and I'll post some photos tomorrow.

Paul, the figures are quite nice (one thing I've noticed though is the latest Mahdists are a tad larger than the previous releases - perhaps done by a different sculptor?) and imho good value for money as are most of the WBritain figures. :salute::

Hi Jeff thank for posting the photos. The set looks great, I think I will be adding that to my collection. The diorama looks fantastic too, Iam in the process of making my own War along the Nile diorama with the camel corp not quite on the scale of yours.
I hope Britains continue with this range. By the size of the limited edition quantities (350) I think they have settled on a production size they believe is enought to supply the demand out there for the range. I hope this gives Britain's the confidence to continue with it in the future.

Thanks again Paul

Hard to keep motivated with this series with the few releases surfacing, but as you say Jeff, this is a nice addition, thanks for posting. Robin.
