Pretty good. More "legend" than history. I watched the original version from the 50s and it compared well. Russell Crowe in the Glenn Ford role and Christian Bale in the Van Heflin role.

Look for the Gatling Gun on the armored coach (The Warwagon). They made a rubber version for the crashing coach as the one used cost multi 1000s of dollars.

Some of the dialogue was difficult to hear so that I played it with the subtitles. Christian Bales' character had served in the Second Company of Massachusetts Sharpshooters from Lynnfield, Mass. (Andrews Sharpshooters) where he had lost his foot. He wears an iron bond boot that slows him a bit. This background explains his expertise with firearms.
