AWI Cavalry. My 3 RD Continental Cavalry, lead by William Washington. These were made from Helmet kits, some Britains AWI swoppet parts and Heralds/Britains horses.
Several of these came from The Barracks, a company that is no longer with us. I followed the pattern and made plenty of my own, using the same Helmet kits and Britain's horses.
I have most of the cavalry units units made and will post the rest of them later on.
These look fantastic with Britains AWI swoppets and Men of '76 troops.
I still have about a dozen more kits left to make.
Following up my 3 RD Continental Cavalry with their mortal enemies, Bloody Banastre Tarleton's Legion
Tarleton's Legion spread fear and hatred all through the Southern Campaign, until they were destroyed by William Washington's cavalry at Cowpens.
Once again, these are Helmet kits, Britains swoppet parts and Britains/Heralds horses. Most of these were obtained from the Barracks, except for 2, which I made from Helmet kits.
If you enjoy these pictures please leave a comment, so that I know that I'm not wasting my time or yours.
I would like to know what you think of these and my 54 mm figures in general. Thanks.
