Hi Guys just got home!.Well what a show!!!First a big thank you to everyone at K&C UK,another great show really enjoyable. It was so good to see all the Neville family again they always make you feel so welcome.(Dave's mum even made me a pastie for my lunch!,so kind of you thanks very much-was delicious!)

So as well as the K&C crew it was great to meet up with Simon,Clive,Kevin,Tom,James and his mum(very nice lady and fellow collector).

And so to the nitty gritty!

First K&C had a great layout with all the new Normandy stuff (except the M12)that all looks even better in the flesh.Tony has made some excellant D day dios that really complement the US troops.I was then interviewed fro K&CUK TV,sorry if your watching this whilst eating i'm an ugly F****!:D

I then met a nice chap called Mark from TM Terrain who showed me the Collectors showcase stuff which looked good,as far as i could see there was no new stuff but their AK line does look good.

I then had a very interesting chat with Mr John Jenkins about his produce.Very nice chap who really knows his stuff. His figures are superb,he had their new Fort/Blockhouse on show which is cool and very tempting indeed. He was a bit shy about telling me about his new range but he did tell me in the end.HOWEVER :)I would like to check with him by email before i say anything because i'm not sure he wants it known yet,he was not launching the range today.

Then i went to NMA! Oh my god!! Marders and Tigers, Tigers and Marders!!!!.Five different Tigers, Summer, winter,AK,Tunisian Ltd Edition Grey (only 10 made!)Three Marders in the usual colours,Both these vehicles are really good and the crews are very nice too. Also a PAK anti tank gun.All these products show what a leap forward NMA/Blake has made. You got to see this Grey Tiger chaps;).

I checked out HB Shermans and they are very very nice. However i had to pass for now as i do have some Shermans.Definetly on the list though.

And what did i buy?:) K&C; Hummel,Normandy Kubel(wonderful piece) original T34 and DD62 'Calling for reinforcements. From NMA i got the summer Schwimmwagen and i preordered two of the Tigers.(Ltd Ed Grey and the Tunisian version). But i also want those Marders. You are going to love them Mr Gambale.Sorry couldn't take pics but should be able to see all on the TV tommorow. Now off to rest Back/Credit Card!;)

Thanks again to all

Rob

Hi Rob-

Thanks for the report.

I just sent a PM to Blake to order a Tiger in Grey camo. Hope it was not too late.

Pierre.

I think you maybe in luck Pierre,i think he still had six when i left.

Rob

Yes Brad,as the AK Tiger is not limited there are plenty of those to go round.Blake said should be about a month before they go out.Sorry mate no pics, but either one of the other Brits got some or it should be on K&C UK TV Tommorow.

Rob

I tell you guys you are going to love these Baby's.They are all based on actual Tanks.Including the famous Tunisian one (with proper number)and i think Blake said the Grey one is from Kursk.

Rob

Sorry mate there wasn't the JJ set you were after.:(

Rob

...Mr John Jenkins...was a bit shy about telling me about his new range but he did tell me in the end.

Rob

That new range, can we hope for Zulu War? That would be great.

Pierre.

Guys,

Agree with everything Rob said.
I've got some phots I need to download. I'll get it sorted later this evening and get 'em posted up.

Great meeting up with Rob, Kevin, Tom, Clive, Blake, Mark the Viking and the Mitchell Brothers, sorry, I mean Neville Brothers, plus others.
I'll post in a few hours once I've got the kids locked up for the night.

Simon

Tigers! Loads of em!
And they look great. 2 desert ones. A Das Reich Russian front one and 2 others.
I didn't manage any pictures but I'm sure Blake will have some up soon and his pix will do more justice than my cameraphone I expect. :)

Then there was the Marder, with again a desert, summer and winter versions.

Best of all is the price. £50 for the Tigers.

Other highlight at the show was John Jenkins. what a great guy and interesting to talk to. His figures also are awesome and though not my era I did buy BM01 and BM03 sets for a very reasonable price and they are my favourite purchase today.

My final purchase that tipped my wallet over the edge was an Honour Bound Sherman. Incredible detail and sculpting on it. I'm looking at it now on my desk and keep spotting new little detail! I was almost going to resist it but Kevin made me an offer I couldn't refuse! :)

Had a load of fun chatting with Rob in the K&C section deciding on what to buy. It was hard work deciding I can tell ya!

Was good to see you James. So hard to choose!.How cool are those Tigers and Marders?.I thought it was a really good show today, time to start saving for the next one!.Glad you got the Sherman, was very tempted but had to resist.

Hey Guys,

May I make a humble request.....PICTURES!

Sorry about that, LOL.

All of this "great looking Tiger, Marder, etc." Is driving me nuts.

Thank you,

Carlos

Sorry Carlos i didn't get any.But i think Simon will post some later.

Rob

Carlos,

Give us an hour or two mate. I'm afraid they're all of the products rather than any of the devilishly handsome British Treefrogger contingent. Don't know what the quality will be like, as I've not viewed the photos yet, but I'll get some bits up shortly.

Sorry if I'm the only Yank with a patience issue.
