Since tomorrow is the 94th Anniversary of the Charge @ Beersheba I thought I'd post a brief video from the film "The Lighthorsemen".

31st October is still celebrated as Beersheba Day in the Australian Army.

Nice one. I will be enjoying a pint or three to celebrate my old Regiments charge on that day. The Beersheeba Dinner is always the highlight event of the 4th/19th Prince of Wales Light Horse Regiment's calendar. A shame the Victorians had to have the Sydney siders of the 12th Regiment on the other flank.^&grin^&grin^&grin Just joking cobber.
