Thank you, Steve. I enjoy painting these miniatures. I find it very therapeutic. You certainly have a steady hand and a good eye.![]()
It's interesting but the scale that I chose was 1:30, but the figures are printed from data designed by different sculptors, and not always the same size.Cheers John
Had a look at the Ancients and they do some battlefield casualties that would fit in with JJD Gauls and at a pinch Iceni and Germanics.
John, I have a question you might be able to answer, do you know if the quoted 1.30th Scale figures are equivilant to WBritains 1.30th Scale or are they more K&C or FL size or any other manufacture of course JJD, TG,CS vary their sizes usually in same range, but knowing how they compare with W Britains gives a benchmark and one would know if they be larger or smaller ?
Thanks John. It's interesting but the scale that I chose was 1:30, but the figures are printed from data designed by different sculptors, and not always the same size.
BUT, if you look at any group of people you see different body sizes and so that can be factored into these figures. Al local collector friend of mine had got wounded / dead /dying medieval figures from this company and when painted that fit in nicely with his manufactured figures, but I'm unsure what makes they are.
All I can suggest is 'give it a go' buy some and see what you think.
