Matt,
When are we going to hear anything on this?At least a tease.:D

I'm scared to see anything pertaining to the upcoming third range . I was very interested but with the current pace of Napoleonic releases I'm just enjoying what is now on offer . I'm having a hard enough time trying to stay away from the upcoming ACW and REVWAR , These two lines are really looking good to me . The pre-order should be just around the corner . :) All the best Gebhard

I would like to see mid-evil knights type range, I like the K&C version but have not taking the plunge and aeroart is a little to pricey...Sammy

Ah mail and plate or Lorica Segmentata; either would do too nicely.:cool: In each case, we would have a fine Ridley Scott movie for inspiration.:D Of course, one must be careful what he wishes for since I have plenty of challenge from the Napoleonic line.

as long its not the crusades, i'm fine.

i want to concentrate on stalingrad and the samurai range.:)

I know it won't be FIW as the time period is too close to AWI.Probably Medieval.

If I was in Matt's shoes, I would do Middle Ages since :

1) it was only touched by K&C (there's more than just Crusaders/saracens to do that's for sure)

2) it shows so much variety (and color) in uniforms that they will never be able to cover everything

3) will bring Aeroart collectors to FL

4) will make me increase my toy soldiers budget :)

Cheers,

Alex

Hastings would be an interesting subject. You could include Stamford Bridge and include vikings!

That would be a good one.Scottish Wars 13th-14th cen.also would be good.

Hastings and the shield wall would be interesting. Like the kite shield. -- Al

If the new series is something of the middle ages. I'm gonna be in a dilema, I really like the Civil war line, but my #1 collection is WWII, so I will only be venturing out into one more series, so if First Legion does the middle ages I will have to choose Civil war...or middle ages, and what a hard decsion that would be, guess I have to see what the new line is first...Sammy

One thing to remember is that the middle ages is a rather extensive period spanning nearly 10 centuries. Personally I would most like to see the Saxon shield walls of Alfred and Edward's Wessex and Mercia versus the Danes, as now wonderfully chronicled in Bernard Cornwell's excellent Saxon Chronicles series.

I think Serpent's Breath needs to be feed.:D
