We have been talking about 40mm as the costs of 54mm figures have been rising.I was looking at some from a company called Sash & Saber and was wondering if anybody has had them and what do you think of them.To be honest I think they have some rough looking faces and other minuses are their not painted and some don't have heads molded on.what do you guys think.

Those are interesting unpainted figures and do appear a bit rough. For Napoleonic painted figures of different scales, this fellow seems amazing.

I thought I would try some 40mm to see how I would like them so I got a set of Sash & Saber. They are not bad in size, you could make some good dioramas with them but are not painted which I knew. Also the heads have to be attached and also some weapons.I could go for this size but only if I could get finished painted figures. For some reason it's hard to find painted figures in the smaller sizes.Probably because it wouldn't be worth the time to paint them and only charge $12-$15 for each.
