[The Military Workshop]

Just started in Oz but reviews worldwide not good. In fact already regarded as a flop.

When I saw the movie poster I was already concerned about what type of movie it would be. Seems it involves witches and troll type characters. Also strange that during recent movies I have watched they have not shown previews of this one.

Probably a mistake in not sticking with a Samurai action movie.

Anybody seen it ?

I saw it here in Poland last weekend it was hookie and sort of dungeons and dragons but the action was good and there was a lot of it. Don't go if you're a purist on the story but if you want to see some action its got a bunch. Definitely had potential with the cast of nearly every famous Japanese Actor and Actress you can name, but they took it into the land of dragons and other odd beasties.

Yeah, I saw a trailer for it, too, and decided not to see it. It looks like a comic book interpretation--excuse me, "graphic novel"--and I'd rather see something that is more of a period piece. I'd rather see Kurosawa. Even "The Last Samurai".

Did actually go to see it.

Not as bad as I thought it would be. Some good action but would have been better without the dragons and mystical type people.

Dont think there will be a return of the 47 Ronin like we had Return of the Magnificent Seven.{sm4}
