Hello everyone,
I am trying to find those plastic soldiers about 5 or 6 inches tall, that were having removable parts like the helmets , riffles, and sometimes guns. They were coming in plastic bags, more often they were blue or red! anyone? ^&confuse thank you

Sounds like PECO. Search Ebay under PECO and you'll probably see what your looking for. Don't forget to search Completed sales.

That was my first guess, too, until I reread that they were from the 70s. Peco ceased production in 1956, according to the O'Brien books. They were only 88mm tall, as well.

MPC made some 5-6 inch figures with seperate acc's but they were Astronauts.

My guess is that he is confusing MPC 60 mm ringhand figures with 6 inch figures.

Are you thinking of the classic MPC "ring hands" figures? These are about 1/24th scale (VERY rough guess). They were produced from the 1950s thru the 1960s. There were two significant styles of "modern soldiers" cast in many shades of green and even white for "ski troops". Most of the military accessories were silver, but I have a number of accessories in light brown also. The earlier figures came in red with white accessories as "Firemen". In later years the figures were issued in multiple bright colors as "astronauts" usually with gold-colored accessories. There were also "cowboys" with some different figures and there were Civil War figures issued in blue or gray. The "Civil War" figures were also issued in red as British and blue for Colonials for American Revolution sets and some of the figures were cast in brown with yellow accessories for "frontier" sets. There were also a series of "pirate" figures. Oddly enough, Marx used to issue accessories in their boxed sets that fit the MPC ring hands, but Marx didn't make equivalent figures and the weapons were over scale for the Marx GIs and Marines. The MPC ring hands were sold in bags of various sizes and boxed sets with boats, vehicles, etc.

I always had some of these while growing up and I bought my current ones through eBay over the years.
