I was on the KC website a moment ago looking at the diorama section for the umpteenth time and my 6 year old daughter comes over to ask me a question. The site comes up and there is the WS104 Heydrich set. She had a toy she needed help with so I am messing with it. She looks at the scene and goes "Dad- are you going to get that??" I said, "No honey, probably not."

She looks at me and says "Ah man thats too bad- that's pretty cool!!"" :D:eek::eek:

Maybe it's us older Dad's who get too squeemish with the violent stuff- the younger ones seem to like it- perhaps more realistic action figures will attract more of the "Halo", "Doom" crowd etc.. :D

Just thought I'd share another family building moment brought to you courtesy of KC:D

STANDS ALONE!!

"Doom" crowd etc.. :D

Doom crowd? Now your showing your age Chris. :D
Many a happy 24 hour period spent playing deathmatches....

I'm glad your daughter is getting interested in K&C. Could be an expensive time ahead for you

D'oohh!!! :D:D Yeah, this Currahee is graying a bit on the sides. It's that little red head 6 year old girl of mine!! :D

She is interested in everything army- She is a fun balance of girl and boy- scored 20 goals last fall in soccer ( 7 games). Runs and sprints with me- she is now running the quarter mile against my 11 year old son- and has BEAT him the last 2 runs ( 2:15 and 2:23 her last two times). No doubt in my mind she could potentially be the 5th generation of my family to wear the green!!

My littlest one, Andrew loves to try and grab my KC figures and run around with them- that DEFINATELY keeps me on my toes!!:D

She also asked me if the Kaizers car was from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang

I think the Kaiser may have done a better cockney accent!.'Gott in Himmel its a luuverly holiday wiz ze Mary Poppins!

It could not be worse than Dick van Dyke's accent.

:D

If ever i'm laid up with my back and i want a good laugh i just have to switch on an episode of him in 'Prescription murder' and i'm soon in fits.Possibly the worst programme in the History of mankind and easily the worst on day time tv.He's a doctor who solves murders too!!!.Now i know why our NHS is in such a state, all the Gp's are out solving murders and fighting terrorism:D

It is interesting that Ian Flemming wrote Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Apparently he wrote some other books but they are largely forgotten now
