I recently received John’s latest WWI aircraft model for the Knights of the Skies line, the Macchi M.5. It is a superb model, highly detailed, and a very intricate design. I like the history behind this particular model, being connected with the early days of US Naval aviation - a neat predecessor to John’s Interwar and WWII US Navy aircraft!

Here’s some pics of my setup using a Thomas Gunn display mat with some of John’s WWI US pilots and ground crew as well as an alternate display with some W. Britains figures. Enjoy!

Well done. What a beautiful model and It measures up to John's typical attention to detail. Congratulations on the purchase. -- Al
