I was wondering what other members thought of this?:) I think it looks quite excellent! Look forward to seeing it Thanksgiving weekend in Imax 3D!:D:eek: Jim Carrey's performance looks top notch...Vick

Nope, no interest; for me, the only version is still the 1951 film adaptation, "Scrooge", starring Alastair Sim as Ebeneezer Scrooge.

Maybe, just maybe the 1970 musical version, starring Albert Finney as Scrooge, even though I really don't like musicals. Or also the 1984 version, with George C Scott as Scrooge, and a supporting cast of some really fine actors, including Edward Woodward as the Ghost of Christmas Present.

Prost!

I will pass on this one. I can't explain why, but Jim Carrey just annoys me to no end and I can't enjoy any moving he is in.

I do like the George C. Scott and Patrick Stewart versions of the Christmas Carol.

George C. Scott classic version and a newer musical one with Kelsey Grammer, which has become a real favorite of my family's......Michael

George C. Scott...manliest Scrooge EVER! The Kelsey Grammer version, not so much.

Patrick Stewart version, not bad but he looked like Nosferatu.

I'm waiting for this movie, from the trailer seems great..i always loved Bill Murray (one of my favourite actors) in Scrooged..:)

I agree, that's the one I prefer as well. Alastair Sim is so good as Scrooge and the supporting actors are excellent. :)

I think they were all good in their own unique way. I look forward to a new version with Jim Carey. Nancy is very excited to see the new version. It is good to make the spousal unit as happy as she can be.
