Gents,
It has been a while since I have posted on the forum. I have been busy trying to be the "Most interesting King and Country Collector in the World"...next to you guys...yeah right! So, before I throw out what I am looking to do. Let me update you fine gentleman on a couple of thangs:
-My wife forgave me for my toy soldier insolence and dropping about 15 grand on the hobby in less than a year. Therefore, the "Pre-Divorce Sale" is over. I got clean clothes and solid dinners again!!!
-My son-in-law (Navy Seabee) and I hosted Andy Nielsen a few Saturdays ago while he was here in San Antone. We picked him up, gave a tour of my store, my staff finally got to meet the "Man", he authenticated some of my paper mache pieces and took him to lunch. Went to the Cheesecake Factory, over fed him, talked his ear off, we ALL told a few "war stories" and he passed out in the back of the Cadillac due to a sugar coma (cheesecake, vanilla ice cream and expresso shots did the trick). Took him back to Kings X, picked up his luggage and dropped him off at a friends house. It was our honor to take Andy out and give him some Texas sized hospitality.
-Picked up a few cool pieces and am looking to sell them to y'all first or maybe even trade. So, before I go to ebay here is a list:
LOOSE (no box)
3 Royal Navy Figures (RN). The RN whistle blower, the RN standing at attention and the Prince Charles look-a-like.
3 Original Seaforth Highlanders. Two highlanders standing at attention and one bugler.
