In the late summer of 1942, Henri LeClerc, a Sgt. in the Vichy French Camel Corps, scans the horizon in the vicinity of an abandoned desert outpost. A few months later the Allied invasion of North Africa known as "Operation Torch" would put and end to the Vichy French's "day in the sun" on the African continent. [This figure is one of the recently retired K&C AK series of the Camel Corps. The lifelike sculpting of the face of this figure is unforgettable and it is sad to see these great figures disappear into their own sunset.]
