I have been selling off my St Petersburg soldiers. They ve been sitting in a cabinet in my attic and I haven't looked at them in years so whats the point of keeping them. well there are a few I will never sell and this Aeroart corporal of the Guards is a one of those. I bought the figure years back and I think I had the last one. It was no longer listed on the Aeroart web site so I called them up to see what the crack was and they had one left so I bought it. A few years later I got the sergeant at one of the London shows with no box though. I never bothered with the standard Bearer but I wish I had got it now, it was just a bit too much at the time at $170 plus shipping from the US.

The Aeroart figure is the first one. The second figure is a 23rd foot private from my Peninsula soldiers range which was painted in Russia to a very high standard which I hope to get going again very soon. The last is a private from the 43rd light infantry which was done in China to a high Chinese standard.

Although different manufacturers, those all work very well together!

Beautiful figures...hope the second (23nd fus.) will be re-released...the sculpt is top notch!

I will be re releasing some of this range again just the 23rd foot and the rifles. The problem is is that the studio will only do them to the higher standard than before so that has pushed the price through the roof. The first 7 have been painted and I should have the pictures on the web site in the next day or 2. A couple of the 23rd have been painted with brown trousers so it will be interesting to see how they have come out.

I am planning to do a new sculpt to finish off the 23rd but I am going to wait and see how these go because of the new price, people might think they are just way too expensive but I am doing this more as a hobby than a business. My accountant would wonder what the hell am I doing this for.
