The Fiat-Ansaldo M13/40 tank was used by the Italian Army throughout the World war II.
“In the North African Campaign, a few captured M13 tanks were pressed into service by Australian forces and re-used by the Australian 2/6th Cavalry Regiment and the 6th Royal Tank Regiment, until the spring of 1941, when their fuel ran out and they were destroyed”.

Best regards

Interesting story..So they were not even worth to be refueled {sm4} In fact, italian tanks were real "ambulant coffins", they could be perforated by an heavy machine gun.

Hi Enrico-

That's a nice one. Love the little kangaroo marking. You've got one hell of a collection. Some of your figures I don't even recognize.

I have the German version of the M13/40 Carro Armato and have always liked it:

Great little tank and I think it's a most unique design.

Dear Rob,

I completely agree with you. The M13/40 design has been very unique. I've appreciated the german version too. My collection will never be like yours. I'm very "novice collector"and still learning...{eek3}

Best regards

Enrico :)

Ps: I always love your shots:eek:
