Guys, sometimes people ask me why I like the forum so much, the answer is simple. Its because of all the friends I have on here. Some of these I have been fortunate enough to meet and share a drink/dinner/day out with and some I have yet to have the pleasure of meeting. These are the real genuine friendly people that make this hobby so much fun. There is no back stabbing, no snide comments with these people just real friendship. Over the years these guys have sent me so many items from shows that I've lost count. Figures, flyers, posters , signatures , vouchers, books, the whole shebang, these friends are so generous and it is always very much appreciated. :smile2:

Which brings me nicely to Konrad! Konrad very kindly sent me a Chicago Britain's American Civil War figure that is one of only seventy modified by Ken for Chicago. He did this because he knew I have a small ACW collection and out of generosity. Konrad you are a gentleman and this gift is really appreciated and will one day hopefully see action in an ACW dio.

Thank you Konrad:smile2:

Hi Rob,

you are most welcome :smile2:
And you said it all correct. The whole forum idea is about sharing the enthusiasm for our great hobby, making friends, providing help or advise when possible, and ..................
There's plenty of positive subjects to share and plenty of Toy Soldiers out there for any taste.

Happy Collecting!

Konrad

Hi Mark,
would be a real pleasure if we could remedy that "never met" situation at some point.
Who knows when an opportunity might show up :smile2:
Cheers!
