Hi all, I have to mention this story that happened today, my wife and I had a garage/yard sale today and a older gent and his wife came into have a look around and he and I made small talk over some old plastic soldiers I was selling and he mentioned he has a huge Britain collection so I mentioned my First Legion collection which he was curious about so I invited him in to take a look, needless to say he flipped out and wanted to buy some on the spot!!! which of course ain't happening, but he was really impressed by the looks of my First Legion guys and asked me where/when/how/ to order First Legion so another First Legion buyer looks to be on board, never know what you can find at yard sales...Sammy

Keep spreading the word Sammy. Although I suspect when he spoke to his wife about the FL figures, she rolled her eyes in that 'here we go again' way that women get at times like this!

Sammy, despite your self-explanitory thread title, I misread it at first glance. I all saw was "First Legion" and "yard sale"! My initial reaction was "Who in their right mind would do that?!"^&grin

Anyway, that is cool that you brought someone new into the fold by striking up a conversation at a yard sale. I am sure he was rightly impressed by your FL collection.
