Andy posted this in the Honour Bound forum but Pierre and others thought it might make sense to post it here as well.

Re “NMROCKS” suggestion for Anna & “The BOYZ” to produce a resin cast FW190 with Pilot...

Do you mean something like this...

Best wishes and...happy collecting!

WOW!!!
Would that be Gallant?

Very cool, but it would be a bit strange to depict Galland in the FW190. He is more closely associated with the ME109. Without looking it up, I think most of his 100+ kills were in the 109 - not sure if any were in the FW.

Doug-

You are correct.

Galland had a total of 104 victories and only two of them were gained while flying with a FW.

Having said that, as he flew a dozen of times with a FW-190, he can be, in my opinion, depicted with it.

Pierre.

Could it really be an upcoming fudgee-Wolf FW 190 by K&C?

Christmas in april? July? Or as usual, december?

I love warbirds!

Pierre.

The model of Gallant is from the polystone version of the ME 109. I've just got a feeling that this FW was a polystone prototype. Hope I'm wrong, unless Andy is thinking about doing poly War Birds again. I wasn't collecting then but the two poly War Birds weren't that successful and I think dealers had trouble selling them.

ANDY!
Are you trying to drive me TOTALLY Crazy!
Why don't you just show me some new LRDG stuff and finish me OFF!
Ray

I don't think so Brad. The polystone warbirds did not have clear canopies, and had a rougher, more weathered finish. I think this model must be one of the wood prototypes from the new factory Andy chose to produce the new Storch, which will be producing warbirds with clear canopies like this one.

I just reposted the pictures as the ones I did yesterday didn't come out too well. These look a bit clearer.

Oh Man - that is great !

How are going to afford all this stuff - this year ?

Brad

Hope you are feeling better today.

Ron :)

Ron,

Thanks. I'm still a little achey. When I got home last night I was tired. It's as if when you're at work, you hold all those inside of you but when you get home, it all comes out. I'm sure this will all be just a memory in a few days.

This is a great looking new KC War Bird if it truly is a teaser announcement. the clear canopy is very possibly since KC apparently has mastered the technique recently (e.g. Opel Blitz).
