59th Foot 1775

This is my first try at a multi-piece model. I will post my progress as I put him together. I did the main figure in one mold, and the sword, axe, and rifle in another. I might try a matte finish for a change..not sure, I like shiny things {sm3}

Beat me to the thought there Mike. What a good idea though Cap'n.............. - as a sculptor and caster - you can paint your lively figures any way you want. Why not - indeed - do one as a Matte figure - and another as a Glossy - and see which figure gets the most votes??? I must admit - (as a self confessed Glossy man) - I would like to judge for myself too! Hope that doesn't bias the issue.....jb

okay, first a correction, this is "23rd Foot, 1792"...apologies if any American Revolution fans were getting excited..:rolleyes: Here are some pics with early paint applied.

I don't know if I'll paint another one, but this one is colorful...so I like him.
