I think, The Collector's Showcase is in the way to join K& C and W.BRITAIN at the pinnacle of excellence.

Dynamic and original attitudes, respected scale ... the last small defect to be corrected are the hilts of the sword, who perhaps miss a little smoothness.

I particulary love their mounted standard bearer, who're fighting! Except their rebel _ a good inspiration could have been that of REAMSA:

Congratulations Brian, continue like that!

I could see some slight improvements in painting & sculpting and a bit more like K&C in terms of style would be nice. But, when it comes to great action poses, they're not promising, they've already arrived and conquered. Their 14th Brooklyn and Wheats Tiger Zouves are my favorites. I look foward to their future Civil War sets.

Brian has heard this from me already. Considering his Tiger is my favorite vehicle, I find that he has listened to some of us, who are enomored with K/C's brighter color pallette..I am still not a big fan of his WW2 figures dark and dingy paint scheme, though and I can not yet find myself wanting to buy them, right now..Michael

I also like:
- embroideries in relief ( flag of the cuirassier, gallon on the sleeve of confederate officer )
- the cuirassier bugler who has his bugle in one hand AND sword in the other.

Sincerely I wait impatiently other Zulu' S war Britsih soldiers, to see whether imagination always with go!

Aww gees your makin' me blush, I appreciate the kudos. It great to hear.

As a youngster I loved figures, painting them, cusomizing them. And my career path as a digital sculptor dovetailed perfectly into this industry. Its a joy to be a part of this fantastic field and hobby.

Currently I've added two more sculptors and as you are seeing and will be seeing we are branching out into the vast and great vistas of varying historical genre.

I love hearing the good and bad from this highly repected collecting community. And will ALWAYS modify: paint, sculpt and vehicles to
grow a better product.

Im not the boss, you are: the customer. I build these products for myself but ultimately for you. Please keep those comments coming so that I might do as the collecting community demands. Tally Ho!

Happy Collecting,

Brian

I agree with Maddadicus that a brighter color pallette on the figures would make Collector's Showcase even better.

But, K&C figures also have a smooth feel to them that I like a lot. Is that caused by a clear coat or is it just a different type of paint?

I think the vehicles are first rate with moving hatches and all the detail parts. The figures are coming along nicely as well. The skin tones have vastly improved. I need add nothing about the poses that has not already been said. There is something about the feel of K&C that is different from CS. But those ACW artillery crews were great except for the ghoulishness of the skin tones.

I actually think the darker colors are a selling point; whenever I see their Germans, I think "Saving Private Ryan" and "Band of Brothers".

German troops in 1944 were in the field with no resupply of uniforms, they were dark and dingy in reality.

Same deal with ACW soldiers, especially the Confederates.

My only issue is their ACW and Napoleonic figures complement K & C nicely, both the same size, while the CS WWII figures are still too large to go alongside K & C figures.............

I think George has nailed this for me. I find the CS WW2 figure colors to be outstanding and very realistic but they are a tick too large. I prefer the darker, grittier look in my World War matte figures as oppposed to bright. CS has an excellent product and I look forward to future WW2 releases. Their vehicles are also the equal of or better than others on the market. -- lancer

I like everything I have looked at from Collector's Showcase. All the figures look very collectable to me.

My favorite is the Confederate Artillery Set. I love the way the two guys are scrambling to cover their ears in anticipation of the cannon boom.

Great poses, some thought went into that. Very collectable to me.

I would buy CS.
