I'm working on a figure in 1/6 of an Imperial Japanese Navy pilot. I already have a couple, so I'm looking for variations.
I noticed that in several K&C figures, the life jacket is shown as black or at least a very dark color. Most of the images I have found are of course black and white and this piece is shown with a glossy finish. Imagine it was ruberized, maybe under a cover of cloth?
Really have no idea. When I look for plates (I include one here for reference) none are shown as dark as in the K&C figures.
I really like how the King and Country figures look and would like to make this variation in the larger figure, but first I'm trying to find out more about the IJN life jackets
and their color variations.
Thanks in advance for any insight.
Could add the plate image, but found this group of pilots. The life vest/jacket looks darker, but not sure if it is black.
