Hello Harrie,
I too am waiting for this second version to appear. I would have surmised that since the first was release the second should be a basically easy modification .... but what do I know of manufacturing Toy Soldiers and Vehicles.
As far as more "fighting" Japanese figures, I would welcome some, but rather hope for more "non-combat" stances and poses similar to TG officers at a table, guards, wounded/dead, maching, etc .... but that is just me.
Fingers crossed for NEXT month ..{sm3}

Production of the tank itself may not be the issue, but the readiness to release it with other figures that may be in stages of development as you rarely see a piece come out on its own without additional figures from that series. Also, other vehicles have relegated to the "One-of" even when other variants were mentioned (remember the Kreigsmarine recovery vehicle that was released with the mini-sub... other variants were promised that haven't yet materialized). Never say never, but sales of the initial variant probably determine the roll out of later versions and the wait may be longer than "imminent"...
YES .. I hear what you say and agree.
So, Harrie's "Title Character" to this thread is really the only valid response that we can count on.
However, I will still keep my finger crossed.
I am still waiting to see if more Japanese Navy (JN) Naval deck figures and deck equipment will make an appearence. More JN officers, sailors pushing/pulling ordinances, spotters and pointers, a blackboard with US ships and seated JN pilots getting last minute instructions ..... gee I can go on for a while.

All of the above are terrific ideas...however we do have a basic production schedule that has to take into account all kinds of different figures, different series and sales potential...But circumstances do change and schedules can and do get altered.
Here at K&C we also appreciate your input and enthusiasm.
Best wishes and happy collecting! Andy.

I can't began to understand the complexities of the Toy Soldier production process from initial idea, to concept stages and all the way through distribution, but I can understand your comment about the intricacies of your business.
I was an Embedded Operating System design engineer for over 40 years. A customer would propose an interesting device that would fill a need position in their product line. However, from the time that we considered the request until the product was released could be as long as 14 to 18 months. Of course the customer wanted it within 3 weeks. {sm2}
So, I understand your monthly dilemma and truly appreciate all the efforts that go into the unparalleled product release that you and the K&C staff do each month. As the expression goes .. "Hope springs eternal" so I will eagerly await the next release.
There is never a month in which I find myself with nothing to buy ... just as George. As Mark just stated, I have a long list to get caught up on.
So bottom line, Andy, thank you for all the effort, time, money, patience and enthusiasm you put into this wonderful hobby.
OKAY, so are my Japanese figures now????? ...{sm4}
All the best right back at you.

Hi Larry,
Many thanks for your post and understanding...Now, onto specifics...There are more Japanese releases planned and they are already in the production schedule. With apologies in advance that I cannot give you any final release dates yet as there are other factors to consider.
However as I said...They are already in the schedule!
Best wishes and happy collecting, Andy.
WoW that's good news!
Thanks Andy for taking the time to answer my question.
