I was away last Easter weekend up to Auckland. Great trip up on the Northern Explorer scenic train and days spent discovering Waiheke island (Jazz festival and wine tasting and long romantic walks in the country). Then the delights of Auckland itself with fish and chips on the quayside, a trip in an old 1950's renovated launch, views from the Skytower and the surprise of a great little italian restaurant with great red wine and pasta.
I arrived back into work last week to find an enormous parcel sitting on my desk. My team were keen on me opening so they could view the contents. But no it stayed there until Friday night unopened. Then the trolley and I laiden with said parcel went off to the train station and the helpful train crewe put it in the guards van with the normal 'been shopping again for models have we Gary?' The parcel slept in the study overnight and was cracked open after the normal family skyping back to the UK was completed on Saturday morning. Coffee, TG and the sound of the Tui's in the trees - bliss
Enjoy
